About this Compound

Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest active fragment of the KISS1 gene product, acting at the GPR54 (KISS1R) receptor. Since its discovery it has become a central tool in reproductive endocrinology research, where it sits upstream of GnRH — the signal that drives LH and FSH release.

Proposed Mechanism

Literature describes GPR54 agonism on hypothalamic GnRH neurons, producing dose-dependent LH pulses in study models. It is used experimentally to probe puberty onset, fertility signaling, and hypothalamic feedback loops.
